General News OCLUG, the Ottawa Canada Linux Users Group, is presenting BOSS, The Business of Open Source, which is a conference being held in November, 2001 in Ottawa, Canada. Eric S. Raymond (esr) will be the keynote speaker, and he will also be participating in a panel discussion among colleagues from Ottawa's development community.

The conference will address the rapidly emerging role of Open Source Software in the world of business -- large and small businesses, and government; IT-based businesses and otherwise.
