Tony Stanco the founder of the FreeDevelopers Network and a Senior Policy Analyst at The George Washinton University's
Cyberspace Policy Institue presented a speach on Open Source
and Free Software development to the World Bank"s Infodev
Annual Meeting on Dec 6th, 2001 in Washington D.C.
According to Tony"s research there are now approximately 300,000 Open Source/Free Software Developers in over 70
countries working on 30,000 active software development projects.
