Microsoft Suing Lindows in Canada

Linux After losing a critical decision in the USA, Microsoft is now suing Lindows in Canada over their name. Will our justice system rule that "Windows" is not a generic term, or will Microsoft succeed in trademarking a term used well before they obtained their trademark?

I sure hope our courts throw out this utter trash and do not waste any time, money or resources cowtowing to Microsoft. The best outcome we can hope for it that they look at Lindows and see it is not windows. Even better would be if they switched to OSS. I would feel more secure if my records were on a linux server, not an MS server running that buggy IIS. I think Lindows is so fantastic I bought a lifetime membership.
