The Calgary Linux Users Group Guild presents Calgary LinuxFest 2006 Powered by the Freedom of Choice.

Calgary LinuxFest 2006 is a one-day conference promoting the use of GNU Linux, free and and open source software by both basic and advanced users.

The conference will feature a keynote speaker as well as two speaker tracks targeting the novice/intermediate user as well as the advanced, more technical user. Interested speakers should contact Dave Watkins or by phone at 403.701.5746.

Everyone, regardless of their experience with Linux, is invited to attend. Admission to all speaker sessions and to the exhibition is free however, due to limited seating, advanced registration is recommended. Register at the Calgary LinuxFest 2006 website at www.LinuxFest.ca.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 6th, 2006 and will tentatively be held in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Building on the University of Calgary campus.
